FAQ

Window Screen Repair Questions from Homeowners

Straight answers about how mobile residential screen service works in Kennesaw and the surrounding area.

Do you come to my house?

Yes. We are a mobile residential screen service. We come to your property in Kennesaw or the surrounding area, look at every screen you're concerned about, measure and do the work there.

Can you repair screens onsite?

Most of the time, yes. Rescreening torn mesh, replacing spline, repairing frame corners and swapping hardware are all done at your home. Occasionally a heavily damaged frame or an unusual size needs to be fabricated and brought back on a second visit.

Can you make a screen if the old screen is missing?

Yes. A missing window screen is one of our most common jobs. We measure the window opening and the way that window holds a screen, then build a new screen to fit it. You do not need the old one.

Do I need to know my screen dimensions?

No. Measuring is part of the visit. Screen openings vary by window brand and installation, and a quarter inch matters, so we prefer to take the measurements ourselves.

Do you repair screen doors?

Yes — both sliding screen doors and hinged or swinging screen doors. That includes rollers, tracks, latches, handles, closers, torn mesh and full screen door replacement when a door is bent beyond adjustment.

Can you replace damaged screen frames?

Yes. When an aluminum frame is bent, split or corroded, we replace corner keys or rebuild the frame with new stock rather than forcing new mesh into a frame that won't hold it.

Do you install pet-resistant screen?

Yes. Pet-resistant vinyl-coated polyester mesh is much stronger than standard fiberglass. Many homeowners have us install it only on the windows and sliding doors their dogs and cats actually reach.

Can you replace all of the screens in my house?

Yes, and it's often the most efficient option when every screen is the same age. We measure all the openings in one visit and handle the whole house together rather than one window at a time.

How much does window screen repair cost?

Pricing depends on screen size, frame condition, mesh type, quantity and whether a new frame must be fabricated. Request a quote and send us photos whenever possible.

Is there a minimum service charge?

Because this is a mobile service, small jobs are quoted with the trip included. Request a quote with what you need and we'll give you the full number up front — no surprises when we arrive.

What areas do you serve?

Kennesaw, Acworth, Marietta, West Cobb, Woodstock, Dallas, Powder Springs, Smyrna and nearby Northwest Metro Atlanta neighborhoods.

Do I need to remove my screens before you arrive?

No. Leave them where they are. Removing and reinstalling screens is part of what we do, and screens often get damaged further when they're pulled out and stacked up.
