Sliding screen door repair

A sliding screen door only works when three things are right: the rollers, the track and the frame being square. When one of those fails, the door binds, the mesh tears along the bottom rail and the latch stops lining up.

• Worn or seized rollers replaced and adjusted so the door glides
• Bent or debris-packed bottom tracks cleaned, straightened or capped
• Torn mesh replaced, including pet-resistant mesh on the lower half
• Latches, handles and pull bars replaced so the door actually stays shut
• Out-of-square door frames re-squared or rebuilt

Hinged and swinging screen doors

Back-door and porch-door screens take a beating. Corners loosen, the mesh blows out, closers stop closing and the door starts rubbing the jamb. We tighten and rebuild what we can, rescreen the panel and replace worn closers, hinges and latch hardware.

Screen door replacement

When a door is bent past the point of adjustment, replacing it is the right call. We measure your existing opening — height, width and track type — and fit a replacement screen door instead of asking you to guess a size at a store.
